MRS. MARY ALICE POTE
Wife of Julius V. Pote of Bakers Summit, died at the Nason hospital, Roaring
Spring, at noon yesterday after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 16, 1891,
at Altoona, a daughter of Marion R. and Mary (Pawley) Stout, and was married
Aug. 11, 1925, at Bath, N. Y., to Mr. Pote. Surviving are her husband, two
sisters ad one brother, Mrs. Rhea F. Herr of Altoona, Mrs. George H. Fluke of
Bakers Summit and Sherman T. Stout of Williamsburg. She was a member of the
Barley Lutheran church, the Ladies Aid society and the American Legion auxiliary
of Roaring Spring. Friends will be received at the Hite Brothers funeral home,
Roaring Spring, after 7 o'clock this evening.
