CALDWELL Adam POTE d. 4 Feb 1887 ADAM POTE At 9 o'clock Friday morning Mr. Adam Pote died at his residence at Baker's Summit. Deceased was aged about 67 years and was one of the oldest citizens of Bloomfield township, Bedford county. Mr. Edward Hare, of Roaring Spring, is a son-in-law of the deceased. The funeral took place at 10 o'clock on Sunday morning. Interment in the Holtzinger cemetery. _____ Nancy POTE d. 10 Feb 1887 Altoona Tribune 17 February 1887, p. 3, column 3 MRS. NANCY POTE At half-past one o'clock Thursday afternoon at her home at Baker's Summit, Bedford county, Mrs. Nancy Pote died, aged 62 years and 2 months. Her husband died one week ago to-day. Mrs. Pote was for many years a member of the Dunkard church, and was an excellent wife and affectionate mother. Three daughters and four sons survive her, as do also two sisters - Mrs. Catharine Kegaries, of Roaring Spring, and Mrs. Barbara Teeter, of New Enterprise.
