He was aged 40 years, 3 months and 17 days. Deceased was born September 2, 1878, and was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ebersole who survives. To this union three children were born: Sherman, Alice and Mary, all of whom survive. He is also survived by three brothers, Lloyd and William of Altoona, and Harry of Lakemont, and by two sisters, Mrs. Frank Ferry of Roaring Spring, and Mrs. Elmira Lamborn of New Enterprise. He united with St. Paul's Lutheran church, Barley, some twenty years ago and was a member of the P.O.S. of A. of Salemville, the members of the camp attending the funeral Sunday morning. Services were held in St. Paul's Lutheran church by Rev. C.F. Gephart. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
