Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Reeder    
 
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Hixon Reeder, wife of M. A. Reeder, died of pneumonia at 
her home in Everett Friday.  She was born in Brush Creek Valley, Fulton county, 
December 7, 1857, a daughter of Timothy and Mary Hixon and was married to Mr. 
Reeder in 1877.  She had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church for 55 
years and was one of the leaders in the work of the church at Everett.  
Surviving are her husband, one daughter and three sons: Mrs. W. O.
Clapper and Clarence Reeder, Everett; George Reeder, Tyrone; Harry Reeder, 
Riddlesburg; three sisters and a brother; Mrs. Emma Lodge, Columbus, O.; Mrs. 
Annie Wilt, Breezewood; Mrs. Susan Ensley, Everett; and Harry Hixon, Dayton,
O.  Funeral services were held at the home at 2:30 p. m., followed by interment 
in the Everett cemetery.
