The victims were identified as Jay Dean REED, 60, of Hopewell RD 1 and William Harold ROSE, 53, of Breezewood. Reed, who lived north of Cypher in Hopewell Township, left his residence to go hunting around 6 a.m. State police said that when he did not return home at dark, his family went searching for him. REED was found approximately 100 feet from his home. Police said he apparently suffered a heart attack while dragging a deer he had shot. Coroner Sam Gordon pronounced Reed dead at the scene at 7:37 p.m. ROSE was hunting on private property four miles east of Breezewood, and police said he suffered an acute heart attack while participating in a deer drive between 2:30 and 3 p.m. Gordon pronounced Rose dead at the scene. Six Mile Run and Raystown ambulances were called to the respective. . .
