Replogle, one of Morrison Cove's well known and aged citizens, died in the Western Maryland Hospital Wednesday night of last week at 10:30 o'clock, following an operation. He was aged 70 years, 7 months and 12 days. Mr. Replogle was a son of John B. and Elizabeth Brumbaugh Replogle, both deceased. His entire life was spent in Woodbury township, Bedford conty (sic), being born October 7, 1849, on the farm now owned by Howard Replogle. On December 15, 1870, he was united in marriage to Sarah Guyer, who preceded him to the grave almost six years ago. For many years he followed the occupation of farming. In 1891 he moved to his home one-fourth mile north of Woodbury where he has since resided. Surviving him are the following sister and brothers: Mrs. Nancy Mock, of Curryville; Isaac B. Replogle of New Enterprise, and John Replogle of Lakemont. Also Mrs. Lucinda Clapper of North Dakota, and Joseph R. Mock of Woodbury, whom they raised from childhood. Mr. Replogle was a good citizen, a kind neighbor, and a devoted member of the Church of the Brethren. Funeral services were held in the Replogle Church of the Brethren Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. The services were conducted by Brothers M. J. Weaver and G. E. Yoder. They based their remarks on the text, "For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands eternal in the heavens." II Cor. 5:1. Interment in the Replogle cemetery. Martinsburg Herald, Handwritten date of May 28, 1920
