Elmer W. ROSE

Bedford Gazette

Elmer W. ROSE, Bedford RD 3, died early Tuesday morning, 
June 22, 1965, at his home. He was born in Bedford County on 
March 5, 1876, a son of George and Hanna (MCFERREN) ROSE. He 
is survived by one brother, Luther, of the state of 
Washington, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was never 
married. He was a member of the Bortz Lutheran Church. 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in the 
Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, by the Rev. Richard 
Tome. Burial will be in the Bortz Lutheran Cemetery, Bedford 
Valley. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 2 
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
