Emmanuel Ross ROSE

Emmanuel Ross Rose, 79, husband of the late Mrs. Mary Heming 
Rose, died at 2:45 p.m. yesterday at his home, 521 Avirett 
Avenue following a long illness. A native of Bedford Valley, 
Pa. he was a son of the late George and Hannah (McFerran) 
Rose. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of SS. Peter 
and Paul Church. Surviving are three sons, Harvey Rose, 
Tiffin, Ohio; Lester Rose, Ridgeley, W. Va., and Ellis Rose, 
Uhl Highway; four daughters, Miss Mary Ethel Rose, at home; 
Mrs. Catherine Vanderhout, this city, and Mrs. Pearl 
Clayton, Fort Ashby, W. Va., and two brothers, Elmer Rose, 
Bedford Valley, and Luther Rose, Washington. A funeral 
service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday in SS Peter and Paul 
Church with burial in the church cemetery. The body is at 
the home.
