Florence (Sigler) ROSE

Mrs. Florence ROSE, 75, of Bedford RD 3, died Friday, Feb. 
14, 1964 in her home following an extended illness. She was 
born in Bedford County Aug. 19, 1888 the daughter of the 
late Cyrus and Huldah (THOMPSON) SIGLER. Her husband, George 
ROSE died in 1960. Surviving are the following children: 
Charles of Bedford; Mrs. Eleanor CAZAN of Cleveland, Ohio; 
Melvin of Huntingdon; Mrs. Helen FEIGHT, Mrs. Dorthy LEVAR 
and Norman, all of Bedford, and Anna ROSE at home. One child 
preceded her in death. Brothers and sisters surviving are: 
Mrs. Ella BAILEY of Philadelphia, Elmer SIGLER of Bedford RD 
4, John SIGLER of Chambersburg, Mrs. Mary MAINWARING of 
Bedford and Mrs. Sue FLECK and Mrs. Margaret COOK, both of 
Bedford RD 1. Mrs. ROSE was a member of Bedford Nazarene 
Church and Bedford American Legion Auxiliary. Funeral 
services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Louis 
Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford with the Rev. Wilard G. Prouse 
officiating. Burial will follow in Sweet Root Cemetery. 
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the 
funeral home.
