George C. ROSE

George C. ROSE, 76, of Bedford R.D. 3, died at the Bedford 
County Memorial Hospital, June 16, 1960. He was born in 
Bedford Valley on Sept. 7, 1884, a son of Johnson and Levena 
(DEVORE) ROSE. He was married to Florence SIGLER Nov. 29, 
1905. He is survived by his wife, and these children: 
William, Bedford; Melvin, Huntingdon; Norman, Bedford; Mrs. 
Eleanor CAZAN, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Helen FEIGHT, Mrs. 
Dorothy LEVAR and Anna May ROSE, all of Bedford. Also 
surviving are four brothers: Charles of Cumberland; Clayton, 
Walter and William, all of Bedford, and two sisters, Mrs. 
Nora CARL, Bedford and Mrs. Flora STEWART, Cleveland, Ohio. 
He was a member of the church of Nazarene. Funeral services 
were held Sunday afternoon at the Pate Funeral Home, the 
Rev. Leonard Wright officiating. Interment was in the 
cemetery in Bedford Valley.
