(RIPPLE) ROSE Bedford Inquirer, March 31, 1989 Mrs. Gladys M. ROSE, 70, of New Paris RD 2 died Monday, March 20, 1989, in the Windber Hospital. She was born April 21, 1918, in Johnstown, a daughter of the late John and Ida (KELLER) RIPPLE. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl J. ROSE Sr., who died in 1981: brothers Lloyd, Roy, Merle, Charles and Clyde; sisters, Myrna ROSE and Pansy SMITH; and a great-grandson, Erick TURNER. She is survived by these children: Lovella, wife of Robert TURNER, of Schellsburg RD 1; Helen, wife of James BEEGLE, and E. John ROSE Jr., married to the former Debbie MILLER, all of Bedford RD 2. Nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive, along with these three sisters: Mrs. Nellie MAKIN of Windber, Mrs. Beatrice ULLE of Vinco, and Mrs. Audrus ROSE of Wilton. Mrs. ROSE was a member of the Beulah United Methodist Church in Johnstown. Funeral services: Thursday, March 23, 1989, at 2 p.m., in the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, with the Rev. Charles Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the Schellsburg Cemetery.
