ROSE Bedford Inquirer, Sept. 8, 1995 Norman E. Rose, 70, of Bedford RD 6, died Monday, Sept. 4, 1995, at Memorial hospital of Bedford County. He was born Nov. 10, 1924, in Bedford the son of the late George and Florence (Sigler) Rose. On June 19, 1944 he married Margaret E. Wilson, who survives, along with four sons, Thomas J. (married to the former Karen Fisher) of Irwin, David A. (married to the former Debora Drass) of Bedford RD 6, Norman E. Jr. (married to the former Diane Perdew) of Bedford RD 6, and Walter Todd (married to the former Debra Orndorff) of Hanover; four daughters, Susan J. Hyde (wife of Gary)of Dover, Norma Jean of Bedford RD 6, Etta Graham (wife of Allan) of Buffalo Mills RD 1, and Candice Wise (wife of Dwight) of Dover; three sisters, Helen Feight of Everett RD 1, Anna Mary Rose of Everett RD 1 and Dorthy Levar of Orlando, Fla.; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, William C. and Melvin Rose; a sister, Eleanor Kazan; and an infant son. Mr. Rose was formerly employed as a terminal manager for Interstate Motor Freight for 18 years, Bedford, and was a co-owner of Everett Tire Service. He was a World War II veteran, serving as a U.S. Army paratrooper in Central Europe. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Trinity Lutheran Church, Bedford. Funeral services; 11 a.m. Thursday at the Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, with the Rev. Raymond Short officiating. Burial in Sweet Root Cemetery, Bedford RD 6.
