Ora Jane (DEREMER) ROSE

Ora Jane ROSE, 77, of 102 Blanch Street, Bedford, died 
Tuesday, November 3, 1987, in Memorial Hospital of Bedford 
County. She was born April 2, 1910 in Cumberland Valley, a 
daughter of Alvin and Minnie (O'NEAL) DEREMER. She was 
married to Ralph E. ROSE, May 31, 1930, and he survives 
along with these children: Alice, wife of Dean RININGER, of 
Cessna, Bedford, R.D. 2; John, married to the former Lois 
PERKINS, of Cinnaminson, New Jersey; Judith, at home; 
Richard, married ot the former Donna HORNER, of Rosenberg, 
Texas; Robert, married to the former Barbara LOWERY, of 
York, Pa.; Linda, wife of Paul BIETERMAN, of Greensburg, 
Pa.; and Joseph, married to the former Christine NYAHAY, of 
York, Pa. Fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren 
also survive along with these brothers and sisters: Roy 
DEREMER, of Manns Choice; Bessie HITE, of Greensburg; Pearl 
DRUM, of Cumberland, Md.; Hazel GROVES, of York, Pa.; Cora 
WILLIAMS, of Bedford; and John DEREMER, of Montana. She was 
preceded in death by one son Harold and one granddaughter. 
Mrs. Rose was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in 
Bedford. Funeral services: Friday, November 6, at 11 a.m. at 
Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Bedford, with Rev. Richard 
L. Tome officiating. Burial in Centerville Cemetery. Friends 
will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 
and 7 to 9 p.m.
