Percy B. ROSE

Percy B. ROSE, 82, formerly of Bedford, Bedford Co., PA, 
died Tuesday morning April 7, 1981, in the Hopemont 
Hospital, Hopemont, Preston Co., West Virginia. He was born 
in Bedford County, April 19, 1898, a son of the late Espy 
and Maude (GILLUM) ROSE. His wife Rose (WAMBAUGH) ROSE died 
in 1961. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Ruth KEFAUVER, of 204 
Richard Street, Martinsburg, West Virginia; four 
grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and these brothers and 
a sister, Norman ROSE, of Manns Choice; Mrs. Ross SHAFFER, 
of New Paris; Ralph ROSE, of Bedford; Russell ROSE, of 
Bedford, RD 6, and Hosea ROSE, of Moorhead, Minnesota. Mr. 
ROSE was a custodian at the Bedford County Court House for a 
number of years and a retired farmer. He was a member of the 
St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bedford. Funeral Mass: Friday, 
April 10 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with 
father Raymond Crosser officiating. Burial in St. Thomas 
Catholic Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Louis 
Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Wake 
Service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday evening in the 
funeral home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to
