William C. ROSE

William C. ROSE, 68, 224 N. Thomas St., Bedford died 
Saturday, March 7, 1970 in Bedford County Memorial hospital. 
He was born in Bedford Township April 13, 1901, a son of 
Jonathan and Mary (DEVORE) ROSE. He is survived by his wife 
Annie Virginia ROSE and these children: Mrs. Shirley SMITH, 
Green Castle, Pa.; Mrs. Betty CLAYCOMB, Hatboro, Pa.; and 
these step-children; Robert MILLER of Cumberland, Mrs. Marie 
SNYDER, Maryland; Donald MILLER, Bedford; Mrs. Phyllis 
BRADLEY, Columbus, Ohio. Sixteen grandchildren, and one 
great-grandchild; these brothers and sisters: Charles, 
Maryland; Walter, Osterburg; Clayton, Bedford and Mrs. Nora 
CARL, Bedford, also survive. Funeral services: 2 p.m. 
Tuesday, March 10 in Louis Geisel Funeral Chapel with Rev. 
Melvin Walper officiating. Burial in Bedford County Memorial 
Park Cemetery.
