William W. ROSE

[d. July 2, 1947; clipping, paper unknown]

W. W. ROSE died Wednesday, July 2, at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Edna NORRIS, Clyde, Ohio, where he had made 
his home for some time. A native of Friends Cove, he was 
born January 9, 1879. His wife preceded him in death. [NOTE; 
parents are Albert and Louise (SHAFFER) ROSE] Besides the 
daughter mentioned he is survived by these children: Mrs. 
Dorothy MILLER, Michigan; Mrs. Gladys ROSE, Fremont, Ohio; 
Theodore and Ronald ROSE, Clyde, Ohio. Also surviving are 10 
grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Arthur E. and 
George S. ROSE, Friends Cove; Mrs. Alden MOWER and Mrs. 
Gordon HINKLE, both of Rainsburg, and Mrs. Frank NAGLER, 
Bedford. Funeral services, July 5, at the M. E. church in 
Friends Cove, Interment in the church cemetery.


William ROSE, a former resident of Friends Cove, died last 
Wednesday, July 2, at Fremont, Ohio. Services were conducted 
at the Methodist church in Rainsburg. Interment was in the 
church cemetery.
