All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/bedford/ _______________________________________________ CAROLINE ELIZABETH SCHNEIDER Caroline Elizabeth Schneider, nee Mohr, born at Marburg, Germany, August 9, 1827, died at the farm home at Baker's Summit, Wednesday, December 11, of diseases incident to advanced years. She was aged 91 years, 4 months and 2 days. The family landed in Baltimore on July 4, 1853. Coming to Pittsburgh some years later, she and her husband located at Baker's Summit and bought a farm at that place. Mr. Schneider died seventeen years ago. This aged mother was a devout Christian, a member of the Lutheran church, and brought up her children in the Godly way of living. She is survived by these children: Frederick, of Oklahoma, and Catharine, at home. Elizabeth died seventeen years ago, within a week of the father's death. Ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive. The funeral was held on Saturday, Rev. C. F. Gephart, the pastor, officiating. Martinsburg Herald, Handwritten date of December 20, 1918
