Mr. Seese was an honest, industrious farmer and a good neighbor. He became a member of the M. E. Church several years ago. The funeral was conducted by his pastor, Rev. W. A. Lepley. Jacob Seese, of Portage, Gilead [Gillian] Seese, of Scalp Level, and William Seese, of Rummel, are brothers of the deceased. His wife, who was a daughter of Samuel Beckley, and the following sons survive him: George B., of New Paris, Alonzo and William, of Wilmerding, and James and Samuel, at home. Interment was in the Pleasantville Cemetery. The following neighbors were pall-bearers: Joseph Anders, G. M. Mock, John Hyde, Enoch Blackburn, Jacob Miller, and William Oldham.
