Mrs. Henry SHAFFER

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Shaffer, 44, of Toledo, a former Elmore 
resident, will be held today (Friday) in St. John's church at 2 p.m., Rev. von 
Brauchitsch officiating. Burial will be in Union cemetery. Mrs. Shaffer died 
in Bixby hospital, Adrian, Mich., Tuesday morning from injuries received last 
Thursday in an automobile accident near Ogden Center, Mich. Besides her 
husband she is survived by a daughter, Frances, 16; her mother, Mrs. Carrie 
Lohr of this place, four sisters, Mrs. Ernest Geisler and Mrs. Millard Brough 
of near Elmore, Mrs. Henry Luelf and Miss Emma Lohr of Toledo; three brothers, 
Clarence of Elmore, Loren of Chicago and Wilbert of Toledo. Mrs. Shaffer was 
born on a farm east of Elmore. She had been a resident of Toledo about 15 
years.
