ROBERT J. SHINN

Of Mount Union died in the Lewistown hospital at 9.30 o'clock Thursday 
night after being a patient there for three months.  A native of 
Everett, where he spent most of his life, Mr. Shinn was born Feb. 28, 
1868, a son of Joshua and Sue Shinn.  He went to Mount Union two and 
one-half years ago to live with a daughter, Mrs. Judson Mellott.  His 
wife, Anna Riley Shinn, preceded him in death.  He attended the United 
Brethren church in Everett.  Surviving are one son and two daughters, 
James F. Shinn of Huntingdon, Mrs. Anna Streepy of Saxton and Mrs. 
Judson Mellott of Mount Union; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-
grandchildren, one brother, Walter Shinn of Cincinnati, O., and one 
sister, Mrs. Mary Kissel of Columbiana, O.  Friends are being received 
at the Clark funeral home, Mount Union.
