Emma Watson Smith   

Emma Watson Smith, a well known and highly respected citizen of Bedford died at 
her home here on Wednesday, Feb. 13.  She was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. 
H. Watson, deceased.  She is survived by one son, Dr. Gilbert Smith of New
York, and also by two sisters, Mrs. Rodgers, of Lafayette, Ind., and Miss Mary 
Watson, of Bedford.  Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon, 
(Friday) at 2 o'clock with Rev. R. S. Caldwell officiating.  Internment will be 
made in the Bedford cemetery.  Mrs. Smith was a member of the Presbyterian 
church and will be greatly missed in the church and by a host of friends.
