NEW ENTERPRISE ITEMS.

  Christian Snowberger, of Leeton, Johnson county, Maine, passed to his 
reward on the 5th inst., in the 67th year of his age.  His death was 
the result of brights' disease, after an illness of 18 days.  Mr. 
Snowberger was a former resident of this place, and made his home in 
the west 18 years ago.  His wife and one son preceded him in death.  
Five sons and three daughters survive him.  He was a brother of D. B. 
Snowberger and Rosie S. Myers of this village; Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, 
of New Paris; and Mrs. Nancy Hanawalt, of McVeytown, Pa.
