ORLANDO G. STAPLETON.

  Orland G. Stapleton died at his home in Saxton, Bedford county, Monday 
night, of heart disease, aged 58.  He was a son of Thomas G. and Mary Bradley 
Stapleton, both deceased.  He was first married to Miss Maggie Roberts, who 
died some years ago.  He is survived by his wife, Sophia (Bridenstein) 
Stapleton, his stepmother, Mrs. Harriet Stone Stapleton; the following 
children, Charles of Stonerstown, Roy at home, Luther of Martinsburg, Miss 
Della and Mrs. Ada Keagy of Hollidaysburg, and Miss Amy of Martinsburg; a 
stepdaughter, Miss Edith Bridenstein of New York, and by four brothers and 
one sister.  Mr. Stapleton was a member of the Lutheran church and of the 
I.O.O.F.  Funeral services will be held this afternoon and interment made at 
Saxton.
