STIFFLER, Of Elliston, O., died at his home Saturday afternoon. Mr. Stiffler moved to Ohio a few years ago. He was born two miles west of Queen and spent the greater part of his life in this vicinity. He served in the Civil war going as substitute for George Knicely. Mr. Stiffler is survived by his wife and the following sons and daughters: William of Queen, Joseph of Elliston, O., Jacob of South Fork, Mrs. Albert Koontz of Johnstown, Mrs. George Ling of Windber. The funeral will be held in the Methodist church at Queen Tuesday at 10 o'clock. Interment will follow in the Stiffler grave yard. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, January 16, 1917
