MAKES SUPREME SACRIFICE.

George Struckman, of Mann's Choice, Killed in Action, October 11.

  Bedford, Jan. 19. - Another Bedford county boy has made the supreme 
sacrifice on the western battlefield, George Struckman of Mann's Choice 
having been officially reported as killed on October 11.  At this late date 
the young man's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Struckman, are just in receipt of 
the official message.  His wife, who was Miss Lena Barley, and a small child 
reside with her parents at Osterburg.  He was about 29 years of age and had 
been on a foreign shore for some months.
