Patrick Williams         

Patrick Williams, colored, who resides in West Providence Township,
about four miles from Everett, was found dead along the road in that
township Tuesday night. He was about 50 years of age and leaves a wife
and children.  Williams had been attending a bush meeting and was returning 
home.  It is supposed that the horse stumbled and fell in the road and that, in 
attempting to assist the animal, he was thrown and his neck broken.  Such is 
the opinion of the coroner's jury which was summoned.
