John Harvey Wolfe Jr.
	 68, of Fishertown, died Tuesday October 7, 1997, at home. He was born 
August 1, 1929 in Fishertown, a son of the late John H. Sr. and Alice P. 
(Gordon) Wolfe. On August 15, 1954, he married the former Shirley Callihan, 
who survives. He is also survived by 5 children: 2 sons: John III, married to 
the former Tonya Brown, of Fishertown; and Fred married to the former "Jean" 
Baughman, of Fishertown; 3 daughters: Judy married to James Hillegas, of 
Fishertown; Kimberly married to Randy Stiffler, Fishertown, and Nancy married 
to Steve Williams, of Osterburg; and 16 grandchildren. He is survived by a 
brother Harry Wolfe of Fishertown and two sisters Dorothy Rowzer and Shirley 
Oldham of New Paris. He was preceded in death by a sister Ethel Smith and a 
grandson Jason Wolfe. 
	Mr. Wolfe was a member of Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship 
Church. He worked as a welder for Bethlehem Steel for 34 years and served as a 
corporal in the US Army during the Korean War . He also was a member of the 
Spring Valley Grange. 
	Funeral Services: 10: 30 am Friday at CRIF Church with Rev. Charles 
Rhodes. Burial in the Stone Church Cemetery with Military graveside service by 
the Everett Honor Guard. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 at the 
Edward Blackburn Funeral Home in Pleasantville and the church 1 hour prior to 
the service.
