Mr. Wyant was born in Imler, the son of Shannon and Mary E. (Burkett) Wyant. He was a carpenter by trade and a veteran of World war I with the rate of corporal. He served with company B, 314th machine-gun battalion in the 80th division. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ada Wright of McKee, and Mrs. Carrie Feathers of Hollidaysburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Greenfield Reformed church. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.
