A very pretty home wedding was celebrated at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Croyle, at Maria, on Thursday, June 15, at 5 o'clock, at which time their daughter, Laura, and J. Oscar Horner, of Waterside, were united in the bonds of matrimony, Rev. E. Stonebaker, of Loysburg, officiating. Mr. Harry M. Ott was groomsman, and Miss Sue Horner, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. Miss Hattie Pressel played the wedding march. The immediate friends of the contracting parties were the only guests. After congratulations they adjourned to the dining room, where a sumptuous repast was prepared. In the evening the callithumpian band, of Maria, composed of 126 members, rendered some very fine music. Mr. and Mrs. Horner will go to housekeeping in the near future at Maria.
