Baker's Summit, September 3. - A very pretty wedding took place last Wednesday evening, when Miss Bertha Fisher and Mr. Harry Miller, both of Baker's Summit, were married at the bride's home at 6 o'clock. The ceremony being performed by Rev. D. T. Detwiler, of New Enterprise, pastor of the Church of the Brethren. The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of white silk crepe de chine, while the groom wore a suit of dark blue. Miss Fisher is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver S. Fisher, a very fine and accomplished young lady. She being one of our successful school teachers. Mr. Miller is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Miller, of near Baker's Summit, is a highly respected young man, and is engaged in agricultural work. Those who witnessed the ceremony were: Mr. and Mrs. Oliver S. Fisher, and children, Ada, Ida, Olither and Richard, Fisher, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Negley, and children, Esther, Elizabeth and Charles Negley, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Fisher and children, Chas. And Dolly Fisher, Mrs. G. I. Callihan, of Alum Bank; Mr. Isaiah Perrin, of Chaneysville; Paul Barley and Dennis Hinkle. After the ceremony, all were invited to the dining room, to partake of a sumptuous wedding dinner, to which all did ample justice, the table being laden with all the delicacies of the season. Mr. and Mrs. Miller after returning from their honeymoon in several weeks shall take up their abode, in a new home being prepared for them.
