Werking of New Enterprise and Miss Stella Nelson of Juniata, were married at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening, December 10, at the Nelson home. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. O. Beery. Before the ceremony, Aaron Nelson, a brother of the bride, sang "I Love You Truly," accompanied by Kenton Miller of Hollidaysburg. During the ceremony Mr. Miller played the "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin. Miss Pauline Brumbaugh of Juniata attended the bride as maid of honor, and the flower girls were Lela Nelson of Hollidaysburg and Mary Lydia Good of Sylvan Hills. Mr. Paul Detwiler of New Enterprise served as best man. Orin (?) Simpson of Juniata, a nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. After the ceremony a supper was served with elaborate appointments. The bride received many beautiful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Werking departed on an eastern trip and upon their return they will make their home in New Enterprise.
