All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/bedford/ ________________________________________________ Source: Microfilm Copy From Bedford County Wills Written: April 15, 1863 JOHN CASHMAN Know all men by these lines that I John Cashman of Middle Woodbury township Bedford County & State of Pennsylvania Freeholder being in ill health but of sound and disposing mind and memory, Do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at the time heretofore made. And as to my worldly estate and all the property real personal or mixed of which I shall die siesed and possessed or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease. I devise bequeath and dispose thereof in the manner following to Wit. My will is that all my just debts, due, and Funeral Expenses shall by my Executors here in after named be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall by them be found convenient. I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Ann L Cashman my whole farm as long as she shall be my widow, all horses all horn cattle all hogs all farming staplements, all household furniture, I give her all the appurtenance belonging to my farm situate in middle woodbury township Bedford county Pennsylvania to have and to hold the same to her as long as she shall be my widow. All the residue of my estate real personal or mixed of which she shall die siesed and possessed or to which she shall be entitled at her decease to be equally divided among my children. And lastly I do nominate and appoint my said two sons William L Cashman and Jacob L Cashman to be the Executors of this my last will and testament. In testimony where of I the said John Cashman have to this my will and testament continued on one sheet of paper and have subscribed my name and affixed my seal this fifteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty three signed and sealed Published and declared by the said John Cashman as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
