Isaac Deremer In the name of God, Amen.. I Isaac Deremer of Providence Township Bedford County and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being but weak in body but perfect sound in mind and memory, thanks be to Almighty God, and calling to mind the mortality of my body, knowing that it is appointed for men once to die, do institute this my last Will and Testament, the premises whereof I bequeath in the following manner. First of all I give up my Precious Soul, into hands of Almighty God, that gave it me, and as for my body I recommend it to Earth to be buried in a decent manner, and as to such Worldy Goods wherewith it hath pleased God, to help me with in this life, I bequeath in the following manner. Viz. first of all it is my will, that all my just debts, that I do owe any man, and my funeral expenses be paid or settled, in as short a time after my demise as conveniently may be. Item I give and bequeath to my well beloved Wife Elizabeth, one third part of my estate real and personal. Item, I give and bequeath to my oldest Son John Deremer two shares in my Estate, and each of the rest of my children, one share to wit Lydia, Robert, Jacob, Isaac, Abraham, Sarah, Elisabeth and William, upon condition That John Deremore, does stay at home and take care of his mother and the last mentioned five children. And I, do institute my well beloved Wife and my first son John Deremer, to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand, this twenty second day of January A.D. one thousand eight hundred and three~ Signed and acknowledged in The presence of Daniel Means Jacob Martin his Isaac X Deremer mark her Sarah X Hall Mark Bedford County. Pa Personally appeared before me the Subscriber, Register for The Probate of Wills and granting letters of Administration, in and for the county Jacob Martin, who being duly sworn, doth depose and say that he subscribed his name to The within instrument of writing, at the instance and request of Isaac Deremer the Testator an that he heard and saw the Testator, make his mark to his name, and that At the time of doing the same the said Testator was of sound and disposing mind and memory and that he seen him seal, publish, pronounce and declare the same as and for his Last Will and Testament and that he saw Daniel Means sign his name as Witness To the excution of the same, at the Testators request, and Sarah Hall made her mark As Witness at the Testators request~ Sworn and Subscribed this 12th day of Feb.
