We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ~~~~~~~~~ Late of Cumberland Valley Twp Dated October 22" 1898 Probated January 10" 1899 Decedent Died January 5" 1899 In the name of God is Peter Deremer of Cumberland Valley, County of Bedford, state of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner unto form as following that is to say first it is my will that my funeral shall be conducted without any great display and that they exepen- sis thereof together with all my just debts be fuley (fully) paid. Second it is my will that my wife Julia A. Deremer take and keep her $300 worth of personal property of what she chooses to take out that she hold her dower in the real estate, third I give and bequeath to my oldest son Joseph C. Deremer $1000 dollars, fourth I give and bequeath to my second son William J. Deremer $500 dollars, fifth I give and bequeath to my third son Henry Deremer $1000 dollars, sixth I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary C. Deremer, now Mc Clellan $500 dollars, seventh I give and bequeath to my son George W. Deremer $1000 dollars, eighth I give and bequeath to my son John V. Deremer $1000 dollars, ninth I give and bequeath to my grandson Harry Rose son of my daughter Emma W. Deremer $100 dollars, tenth I give and bequeath to my Daughter Ida J. Deremer, now Nave $500 dollars. Eleventh I give and bequeath to my Daughter Martha E. Deremer, now Hite $500 dollars, thirteenth I give and bequeath to my Son Samuel G. Deremer $100 dollars, fourteenth I give and bequeath To my son Harry R. Deremer, $100 dollars and the remainder to be divided amongst them all except Harry Rose. And lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Julia A. Deremer and my son Henry Deremer to be the executix and executor of this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me made and Ratifing and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereto set my hand seal this 22nd day of October 1898 Peter Deremer Signed published and declared by the above named Peter Deremer as his last will and testament (witnessed) Unable to read last word* of us who at his request have signed as witness of the same. Warmuth, the two subscribing witnesses to the last will and testament of Peter Deremer late of Cumberland Valley Township, deceased, who being duly qualified according to law depose and say that they were personally present and saw and heard the aboved named tester sign and seal, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and of his last will and testament, that they signed their name as witness with request of said tester and in his presence and in the presence of each other, and at the time of so doing said tester was of sound mind, memory and understanding, tobest of deponents knowledge and belief.
