Burdan I William EGOLF of Harrison Township, Bedford County in the state of Pennsylvania, farmer, being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life do make and publish this my will and testament in manner and form following to wit: First, It is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease. Item 1. It is my will and I do order that my wife Rebecca EGOLF is to have her home and her living on my homestead farm as long as she lives. Item 2. It is my will that after my death and the death of my wife that my son George R. EGOLF is to have the use of said farm for five years after my death and the death of my wife, he is to farm said farm just as he is now, he is to give Mary L. EGOLF the third of all raised on said farm. The [said] George R. EGOLF is to pay all taxes on said farm except the county tax Mary L. EGOLF is to pay. The rent received on the property at Manns Choice George R. EGOLF and Mary L. EGOLF is to receive for five years and the money that I have on interest George R. EGOLF and Mary L. EGOLF is to have all the interest on said money for five years after the death of me and my wife. The said Mary L. EGOLF is to take care of Rebecca EGOLF her mother during her mother's life time and if the third of the farm and the half of the rent of the property at Manns Choice and the half of the interest on the money that I have out don't keep her and her mother she can draw on the principle of the money at interest. Item 3. It is my will that after my death and the death of my wife that my daughter Mary L. EGOLF at the end of five years she is to have five hundred dollars out of my property. Item 4. It is my will that my son George R. EGOLF at the end of five years after my death and the death of my wife I want him to take the said farm at the appraisement and if he don't take the said farm then Mary L. EGOLF can take it if she wants and if they don't take it at the appraisement then it is to be sold and the property at Manns Choice and after the expenses are all paid the balance to be equally divided between my legal heirs George R. EGOLF, Mary L. EGOLF, Ida R. NEWMAN, Albert A. EGOLF. And lastly I nominate constitute and appoint my two sons, George R. EGOLF and Albert A. EGOLF to be Executors of this my will hereby revoking all other wills legacies and bequests by me heretofore make and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament. In Witness Thereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the 27th day of May A.D. 1892. SARUS[?] William BAILEY Bedford County SS: Personally appeared before me Wm L. LYSINGER, Register for the probate of wills in and for said County, Martin L. SARUS[?] and William BAILEY, the two subscribing witnesses to the last will and testament of William EGOLF late of Harrison Township, deceased, who being duly qualified according to law depose and say, that they were personally present and saw and heard the above named testator sign and seal pronounce and declare the forgoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament that they signed their names as witnesses at the request of said testator and in his presence and in the presence of each other and at the time of so doing said testator was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of deponents knowledge and belief. sworn and subscribed to this 17th day of Mary A.
