Principally and first of all I commit my immortal Soul, into the hands of God, who gave it and my body to the earth, to be buried in a decent Christian like manner, and for such worldly goods, and estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner to wit, first it is my wish and desire that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as eminently can be after my decease. Be it Remembered that on the 22nd Day of Feby AD 1825. Letters Testimony were granted to Michael Hevner and William Kilwell Executors in the foregoing will named they having been first duly sworn & affirmed according to Law. Additional Comments: Note: According to the family history written by Mrs. Annie Caldwell Moss from conversations with her grandmother Rebecca Hevner Caldwell, George Hevner was born in Germany 9 Jun 1732 and died in Bedford County, PA on 6 Feb 1825. His daughter Rebecca Hevner was married to William Caldwell on 20 Dec 1808. I believe Killwell to be a misspelling of the name Caldwell, and that the will of George Hevner shows that his daughter, Rebecca Hevner was married to William Caldwell prior to 19 April 1814, which is the date of the will. Tusk Mountain is called Tussy Mountain in the Rebecca Hevner Caldwell history. I have also run across variation on the spelling of the name Hevner. It often is written as Havener.
