In the name of God Amen I John Miller of Belfast Township Bedford County and the commonwealth of Pennsylvania being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given Unto God calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die. Do make and ordain this my last will and testament, that is to say, principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hand of the almighty God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent christian burial at the discrection of my executors nothing doubting but at the general reserection I shall recieve the same again by the almighty power of God. And as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. First shortly after my decease I will that all my household goods and moveable property shall be sold by public sale and that I give and bequeath to Martha my dearly beloved wife one third part of all the moneys arising from the sale of the aforesaid movable property. Two I will all my real estate or the land that I own be sold at public sale shortly after my decease and that the monies arising there from after my just debts are paid be divided in the following manner. Vix To my five children Barbara Miller, Jacob Miller, John Miller, David Miller and Elizabeth Miller each one to recieve an equal part of the aforesaid monies when they come to years of maturity. That is the boys when they are 21 years old and the girls when they come to eighteen years of age. And I do hearby disallow remove and disannul all and every other former testament Will or legary ratifying and confirming this and no other to being my last will and testament in witness wherof I have unto set my hand and seal this 28th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen.
