Imprimis, I recommend my soul in the hands of God who gave it and my body to the Earth, to be buried in a decent Christian like manner and as to such Worldly estate with which it has pleased God to Bless me with in this life, I give and dispose of the same as follows. Whereas in and by an instrument of writing and agreement mutually made and confirmed between me and Susana Swenck, now Susana Ott, my beloved wife, said instrument of writing and agreement bearing date of the fourteenth day of August last, the date hereof, wherein it was agreed, that she the said Susana Swenck, after becoming my wife and in case she should survive me, should be paid by my Executors or Administrators within three months after my decease the sum of five hundred dollars in money and also to make her a good and sufficient title clear of all incumbrances to a Certain House and lot of ground in the borough of McConnellsburg as in said instrument of writing will more fully and plainly appear to which I refer. Item, it is my will and desire that my herein after named Executor shall well and surely pay or cause to be paid unto my wife Susana Ott the above mentioned sum of five hundred dollars and do all other things agreeable to said instrument of writing or agreement afforesaid as and for her Legacy from me the same being our agreement and she being satisfied it is my will that she my said wife Susana shall have nomore Neither of my Real non personal estate, only her bed and because that she brought to me she shall have again. - Item, I give and bequeath to my Nephew George Ott son of my brother George Ott all my plantation on which I now live the same being in four separate deeds but adjoining and in one body to him and his heirs forever. Item, I give and bequeath to the wife and children of my brother Francis Ott one thousand dollars to be divided amongst them share and share alike. Item, I give and bequeath to Conrad Unger four hundred dollars, but in case of his decease before me then the same to be divided between his wife and children share and share alike. Item, I give and bequeath to the wife and children of George Unger four hundred dollars to be divided between them share and share alike. The above specified sums to be paid by Executors as soon as the same can be collected out of my outstanding debts. Item, I give and bequeath to my brother George Ott two parts of all the money that shall remain after my specified legacies and the third part I give to his son and my Nephew George Ott to be divided between them two parts and third. Item, I give and bequeath to my brother George Ott and to his son George Ott all my property in McConnellsburgh so that they may divide it between them in such a manner that my brother George may have two parts and his son George one part, my household and kitchen furniture as also my stock and all movable property; I order to be sold at publick sale as soon as may be after my decease and the proceeds thereof to be divided between my brother George Ott and his George two parts and third as before, viz my brother to have two parts and his son George one. Item, It is my will and I order my Plantation that I bought of James White to be sold by my Executors after my decease and the money arising there from, I order to be divided in such a manner so that Frederick Slate, who now lives on said farm, may receive one third of the money or value of said plantation and the other two parts, I order and allow to be divided amongst the living Children of my sister Barbar Kesslering share and share alike, but it is also my will that in case Frederick Slate should leave my place before my decease then the third part that I have given to him shall be nul and of none Effect, and shall be dessend to the living heirs of my sister Barbara Kesslering and to be divided share and share alike with the other parts. And lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint my brother George Ott and my Nephew George Ott to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament. And John Camerer the subscribing witnesses to the above and foregoing Instrument of writing who being duly sworn according to Law, do depose and say that they were personally present and heard and saw the testator Wendel Ott, sign, seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last Will and testament, that at the time thereof the testator was of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding according to the best of these deponents knowledge and belief; and that they subscribed their names thereto as witnesses in presence of the testator and at his request.
