I Elizabeth Young of the Township of Hopewell in the County of Bedford, Widow. Being at present in health and perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God. Calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all once to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, that is to say, principally and first also I give and recommence my soul into the hands of the Almighty God, that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in Decent Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executor hoping at the General Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such wonderly estate where with it has pleased God to bless me in this life. I give Demise and Dispose of the same in the following manner and form. First I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Peter the sum of fifty pounds lawful money of the state of Pennsylva also I give and bequeath unto my beloved son William six pounds. I give and unto my daughter Mary Rynards children the heirs of her body all the residue and remainder of the real estate which share was totally invested in my by an instrument in writing reference thereunto have wit at large appear. I bequeath unto my daughters Catherine Boolman, Elizabeth Ford, Sarah Hay my bed and bedding and wearing apparel to be divided equally. It is to be understood that the daughter of Elizabeth Ford Polly is to have the part left to Elizabeth Ford and likewise the part left to Sarah Hay to be left to her oldest daughter Rebbeca and the equal part of my bedding and apparel to the daughter of Mary Rineart, Sarah, and one equal part to my daughter Catherine Boolman to herself then the remainder of my estate if any thereby be divided amongst my eight children John, Frederick, Peter, Christopher, Catherine, Elizabeth, Sarah, and the heirs of my daughter Mary Rineart to be divided in the following manner by my beloved son John. Two parts out of which parts he is to pay William Young six pounds afore mentioned. To my beloved son Frederick one part which he is to have six pounds and the remainder equally divided amongst his children. To my son Peter one part to himself. To my son Christopher one equal part. To my daughter Catherine Boolman, one part of which she is to have six pounds and the remainder in three equal parts, two parts for her son Nicholas and one part to her daughter Elizabeth and if the boy dies before me to be divided amongst her children. One equal part to the children of my daughter Mary Rineart. To my daughter Elizabeth Foord, one part which she is to have six pounds and the remainder to her daughter Polly Ford. One part to my daughter Sarah Hay which she is to have six pounds and the remainder to her daughter Rebecca. Its further my will that all the sums within mentioned to be carefully and honestly discharged according to the true intent and meaning thereof which I place confidence in my two beloved sons within mentioned John and Christopher Young, whom I likewise constitute make and ordain them my Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former testament will legacy bequeaths and Executors by me in any way likewise before willed and bequeaths ratifying and conforming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this tenth day of March in the year of out Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ten. John Piper Thos Buch Be it remembered that my giving John Young two shares of the remainder or last divide of my estate is a compensation for the trouble and expense he may have by my living with him and if I should live with until my decease and that share considered not sufficient compensation he is to have what may be considered reasonable for his troubles. Be it remembered that my giving Christopher Young fifty pounds extraordinary more than other shares is to make him a compensation for this troubles as Executor. I bequeath to my son John Young's daughter Elizabeth one walnut chest with the two first letters of Adam Young deceased. Bedford County ss Personally appeared before me the subscriber Register for the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for said county John Piper one of the subscribers witnesses to the foregoing will or instrument of writing who being duly sworn doth depose and say that he was personally present and heard and saw Elizabeth Young the Testator make her mark as her signature, publish pronounce & declare the same as and for her last will and Testament at the time of doing thereof the same Elizabeth was of sound and deposing mind & memory according to the best of their knowledge and belief.
