Transcribed from an old photostat of the family record of a generation
of the Seifrit (Seifried, Seifriedt, Seefreed, Seyfreed, Seifreed)
family of Berks County, Pennsylvania.  All entries were written in
German script and appear to have been by several hands. The first three
entries appear to have been written at one time and by one hand.  These
are known to be the children of Jacob and Susanna Seifrit of Robeson
Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania.  The last known location of the
original was with a descendant in Adamstown, PA.

1786 den 19 December ist mein sohn Johannes auf die Weld beboren im

1791 den 13 Martz ist Mein Sohn Daniel auf de Weld geboren im Zeigen des
Grebs

1794 den 11 Martz ist meine tochter Elisabet(h) zur Weld geboren im
Zeigen des Grebs  (record is very faint)

1797 den 6 Juli ist Mein Tochter Susanna zur Weld geboren Im Zeigen des
Schitz

1800 den 23 Abril ist mein Sönlein Isaac auf die Weld geboren im Zeigen
des Witters

1803 den 18 Ma˙ ist mein Söhnlein Benjamin in die Weld gebohren im

1805 ist den 19 (or 17 or 13) Decem ist Meine tochter Sahra zur Weld

Translation:

1781 the 19th of December my son Jacob was born into the world in the
sign of Aquarius

1784 the 4th of May my daughter Anna Maria was born to the world in the
sign of Libra

1786 the 19th of December my son John was born into the world in the
sign of Sagitarius

1791 the 13th of March my son Daniel was born into the world in the sign
of Cancer

1794 the 11th of March my daughter Elisabeth was born to the world in
the sign of Cancer

1797 the 6th of July my daughter Susanna was born to the world in the
sign of Sagitarius

1800 the 23rd of April my dear son Isaac was born into the world in the
sign of Aries

1803 the 18th of May my dear son Benjamin was born into the world in the
sign of Aries

1805 the 19th of December my daughter Sarah was born to the world in
Sagitarius
