  This cemetery is situated in a wooded area in Exeter 
  Township, Pa accessible only by foot and with permission 
  by adjacent land owners. It is approximately 1/4 mi north 
  of Schoffers Road, 1 mile from Stonersville.
  This cemetery is well-maintained through a trust 
  established by Henry Close when he died.Henry was a 
  grandson of John Close who is buried here.
  There are three principal famlies reposed in this 
  cemetery: Beiler, Close and Kline. The first burial was 
  that of John Beiler aka Biler/Beyeler 1740-1822 who was a 
  son of Jacob Beyeler 1687-1771 and Elizabeth Kallen, of 
  Bern Township. Jacob and Elizabeth had ten children.
  John Beiler served in the Revolutionary War and around 
  that period was listed in the Exeter Township Tax Records 
  as having 200 acres of land, 4 horses and 6 cattle. Also 
  listed in this tax record was Henry Close, a wagoner, with 
  about the same amount of property.
  john Beiler married Christina Esterly and they had five 
  daughters: Mary, who married Jacob Stauffer; Elizabeth, 
  who married John Heine; Rachel, who married Mark Phare
  (Fair); Sarah, who married David Klein (both buried here); 
  and Christina, who married John Close,also buried here).
  David Kline and Sarah Beiler had six children. One was 
  David Kline Jr. who married Sarah Kinsey, they are buried 
  here also with some of their children.
  It is not determined how many years the Klines continued 
  ownership of the property. The cemetery became part of a 
  20 acre parcel owned by George and May Haas until ca 1980 
  when it was sold and subdivided.
