It's Henry Wetzel married to Catherine, children Catherine married to Sterner, and I think Minors Jacob and Jeremiah. Brackets are [unsure] of what it said: P230 At an orphans court, held at Reading in the Co of Berks on the 10th day of April in the Year of our Lord, 1794, before Joseph Shester and George Ege esquire, Justice of said Court and upon the Petition of John Wetzell, eldest son and heir at law of Henry Wetzell, late of the Twp of Macungey in the County of North Hamptom dedeaded settling forth that the said petitioners father lately died [untestale] leaving a widow p231 named Catherine, since intermarried with William Smith and 5-4 children to wit the petitioner, Catherine the wife of Michael Sterner, Jacob and Jeremiah the two last named ar [rpt] in their minority and that the said intestate died, seized in his [demise] as of [fce] of amoung other lands and in a certain [muessuage] or tenement and [lact] of land situated in the twp. of Hereford in the Co. of Berks adjoining land of Christopher Bittenbender, Mattais Ludwig, John Wetzell, Deitrich Danner, Phillip Kuth and others containing 25 acres be the same more or less with the [appertenances] and therefore praying the court to award an inquest to make [appenentances] of the said tenement and the tract of land with the appentences to and amoung the children and representatives of the said intestate in such [Tramer] and in said [penportions ] as legal __ ____ to ____ the whole. But if said partition cannot be thereof made as aforsaid then to value and appraise the same and make report of their proceedings herein according to law. the court here do award an inquest to make petition of the real estate in the said petetions mentioned where of the said Henry Wetzel the intestate therein named died seized to and among the children and representatives of the said intestate in such names and in such proportions as the laws of this Commonwealth is directed of such partitions can be made without pregdedice to or spoilling the whole, otherwise to value and appraise the same and it is hither ordered to the court here that a writ [ifure] to the sheriff commanding him to summon an inquest for the purpose of our said [retrnable] before the Justice of this Court the 7th day of May (could be Mar) next and the same writ [infuedice] accordingly afteward to writ: at an orphans court held at Reading ___ for the county of Berks on the 7th day of May in the year of our Lord 1794, before Jacob Rush and James Deemer Esquire, judges of the said court [4], Peter Fraily Esquire, High Sheriff of the Co. of Berks made return of the said writ in the word following to wit [To] the Judges within named I do hereby certifi that by vertue of the within writ to me directed I took with me 12 honest and lawfulmen of my [bailwich] and went to the [otecpuage] or tenement and tract of land and all and sigular the premises within mentioned where of Henry Wetzell the intestate in the said writ, named died seized who up on then oath and solemn afformation respectively finding that the same could not be parted and deivided to and among the parties as written mentioned and therefore have valued and appraised the same p232 as by the withim writ. I am commaned the residue of the writtin writ apears by a certain [inquite] on hereunto annexed do [Anstoers] Peter Fraily Sheriif, inquisition indented and taken at Hereford Twp in the county of Berks the 23rd day of April in the year of our Lord 1794 before Peter Fraily Esquire High Sheriff of the said county by [written] of a writ of the Commonwealth to him directed. And to this Inquisition [ be nnter] by the oathe of Philip Gehr Esq, John Stud, Peter Trexler, Peter Hum, Samuel Swartz, Jacob Miller, Jacob Richstone, George F Hersler, Peter Kaiser, Christopher Biddenbender, George Fatterman and of the Solemn affirmation of John Sell twelve honest and lawful men of his bailwich who upon their oathes and solemn affirmation of John Sell, aforesaid respectively do say that they went to the real state or land and tenements in the said and mentioned with the appuctenance whereof Henry Wetzell and the ___ in the said will named died seized and then there did find that the same could not be parted and divided to and among the [partrons] said isnt named without prejudice do or poiling the whole land therefore the request beforesaid on then athment solemn affirmation of John Sell [aforesed] have returned and appraised the same at the sum of 162 pounds and silling, gold or silver money subject to all moneys interest and quit rentative and becoming due and payable theron. In testimony where if as will the said Sheriff a request aforesaid have hereunto nite changeable.
