Woodward (nee DeHart*), widow of Evan E. Woodward, who died at her home 123 Walnut street, at 7 o'clock this morning, was the fifth member of the First Baptist Church to pass away within the past three weeks. All were active in the affairs of the congregation, which suffered a great loss. Mrs. Woodward's demise was due to a complication of diseases, and she was bedfast for three weeks. Deceased was a lifelong resident of this city. She was active in the affairs of the First Baptist Church, was formerly Treasurer of the Home Missionary Society, and an active worker in the local W.C T.U. There survive six children: Hannah, wife of A.A. Reynolds, of Wenonah, N.J.; Blanche, wife of E.L. Miller, of Glenside; E. May Woodward, Amanda DeHaven and Rose Woodward, at home, and Elmer L. Woodward, of this city, two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Geiger and Mrs. Mary Geiger, of Elverson. Additional Comments: NOTE: * She was nee Dehaven, not DeHart.
