  Will of Jacob Adam 1864 Richmond Township Berks County Pennsylvania
  
  In the name of God Amen:  I Jacob Adam of the county of Berk in State of Pen..
  farmer being weak in body, and of sound, [memory?] and understanding; but,
  considering the uncertainty of this transitory life, do make and publish this my
  first will and and Testament,
  I direct, that my body be decently interred, in the burial ground, and that my
  funeral be conducted in a maner coresponding with my estate and situation in life
  And, as to such worldly estate, as it hath pleased God to intrust me with, I
  dispose of the same as follows,
  First, I, direct that all my debts and funeral expences be paid, as soon after
  my decease as possible, out of the first - my Executors, from my portion of my
  estate, real or personal.
  Also, I direct that my Wife Mary, and Meicheal Adam Jacob Adam shall farm in the
  same way as before, Until my youngest son Phillip gids his age, 21, years And
  after my youngest son when he of age My really Estate shal be sold on Puplic
  Sale, and Personal Estate, And my wife Mary shal have $300, and the dower (or
  what the law requires)
  And my Executors shal make Every thing to Money and Divide in equal shares unto
  my children Namely Meicheal Adam Jacob Adam Phillip Adam and Mary Adam, in like
  shares,
  It it is my will that Meicheal Adam and Jacob Adam shal have each $100 Dollars
  from the time that they work ever age and both the Clothing.
  And Also is my will that Jacob Lesher shal have $200 Dollars out of my Estate
  and my son Meicheal Adam shall keep the Money till Jacob Lesher gids his age
  without Interest, And Meicheal Adam shall take care of Jacob Lesher until he is
  18 years old.  My desk shall have my son Meicheal Adam
  
  And, I do hereby make and ordain my two sons Meicheal Adam and Jacob Adam
  executors of this my last Will and Testament respossing full confidence ~
  
  In Witness I Jacob Adam the testator, have to this my Will written on one sheet
  of paper set my hand, this twenty ninth day of October A D 1864.

  Signed and delivered in the presence of us, who have subscribed in the presence
  of each other
