All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Barbara Mihalcik christielisabeth@yahoo.com August 17, 2009, 1:05 am Source: Berks County Courthouse Written: April 24, 1760 Will of Peter Gortner 1760 Albany Township Berks County Pennsylvania In the Name of God Amen I Peter Gortner of Albany Township in Berks County Province Pennsylvania am sick in Body but of good memory blessed be god Do this 24th Day of April in the 34th Year of our Sovereign Lord ~ George the Second of God's Grace King of Great Britain France Scotland and Ireland and in year Anno Dominy 1760 Publish this my Last Will in the following Manner first I give to my Son Peter Gortner Thirteen Pounds in Money for him and his Heirs and sucesors Administrators Executors or to whom shall assign it for all Time for Ever and ever also I give to my Son George Gortner Ten Pound in money for him and his Heirs and Sucesors Executors Administrators or to whom he shall assign it for all time for ever and ever also I give to my son George David Gortner Ten Pounds in Money for him and Heirs and succesors Executors Adaministrators .… also I give to my Daughter Dorothea Gortner Ten Pounds in Money for her and her Heirs and succesors Executors Administrators or to whom she shall assign it for all time for Ever and ever also I give to my Daughter Maria Elisabeth Gortner Ten Pounds for her and her … and succesors, Executors Administrators to whom She shall assign it for all Time for Ever and ever also I give to my Beloved wife Maria Chatarina Gortner one Pound money fourteen Bushels of Wheat fifteen Bushels of Rye and three Rows of apple trees in the orchard behind the Barn and three apple trees by the House and half an acre of Turneps and half an acre of Flax or Hemp one acre of Meadow the Garden by the Hous a piece of Land for Potatoes Beans Two acres of Buckaker half an acre of Oats and Shoes as many as She will need the wool of three middle sized sheep so long as I Live but after my Death as last mentioned lastly I give also to my son Jacob Gortner my Improvement of two hundred acres with the waggon horses utensils Plough and what belongs to the Team for his his Heirs and succesors his Executors or Administrators to whom he shall assign it, for all time and for Ever and ever instead thereof shall my mentioned son Jacob Gortner for my above mentioned son Peter Gortner the above mentioned thirteen Pound in money the 27th of November 1762 and to my mentioned son George Gortner shall the said Jacob Pay the mention Ten Pound money the 27th of November 1763 and to my above mentioned Daughter Dorothea Gortner shall the above mentioned Jacob Gortner pay the mentioned ten pound …..
