All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Lynn Beatty klbeatty@redrivernet.com September 7, 2006, 6:36 pm Source: Unknown Written: March 8, 1781 : "First it is my will that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall be paid off, and I give, demise and devise unto my son, Abraham Latchaw, of Hereford Township, a piece or tract of land situated in Hereford aforesaid, between the land of Franz Latchaw, Jr., Christopher Schultz amd Philip Christman, being in length 86 preches and in bredth 32 1/2 perches, containing 17 1/2 acres of land with all the appurtenances, unto the said, my son, Abraham Latchaw, his heirs and assigns forever. Item- I give unto my son, John Latchaw, the sum of fifty pounds of hard money, Pennsylvania currency, and it is my will that all the rest of my personal estate shall be equally divided and shared amoung my children and step-children, to each an equal share with any other of them, viz: to John, Frantz, Abraham, Jacob, Mary and Henry Gable, also an equal share to the children of my step-daughter, Catharina Lentz, deceased, in equal portions to each of the said two deceased daughters' children when they come to their legal age, and I make and ordain, the said, my son, Frantz Latchaw, of Hereford Township, aforesaid and step-son, Henry Gable, of Colebrookdale, aforesaid, to be my executors of this my will. In witness whereof, I, the said Franz Latchaw, have to this my last will and testament, set my haid and seal the day and year above written (March 8, 1782).
