This inventory was done by Scott Troutman, September 16, 2003. The cemetery is in the worse shape of any cemetery I have ever set foot in. I estimate 50-90% of the tombstones have been destroyed by vandals. Most of what you find is the bases of tombstones, broken pieces the size of your fist, and even one tombstone grown into a tree. An earlier listing of this cemetery was compiled by Michael Wustrow and he notes the cemetery is also known as the Guilford or McGarvy Cemetery. His information (no date given), gives the ages of the dead, and is possibly from church records and not from the tombstones. I have blended his information with mine and placed Wustrow's information in italics. Wustrow indicated about half the names he listed as having unmarked graves. Those with NT have no tombstone. These records have been further augmented by the Veterans records from the Veterans of Foreign wars and an earlier picture of one tombstone from Michael S. Caldwell. A.R.C.
