P. Aiken and Virginia his wife Stephen Aiken and Annie his wife Margaret J. Barnhart and John Barnhard her husband and Annie Myers and C. B. Myers her husband all of the state of Pennsylvania of the first part and Eliza Aiken of the City of Altoona County of Blair and state of Pennsylvania of the other. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and inconsideration of natural love and affection and the sum of one dollar lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, conveyed, and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece of ground situate, lying and being the East side of lot No. 7 in Block 16 in the general plan of the City of Altoona, County of Blair and state of Pennsylvania fronting on Third Avenue twenty five feet and extending back "the same width" one hundred and twenty feet. Bounded on the north east by part of Lot no 7, block 16 south east by an alley south west by Lot no. 8 block 16 and north west by Third Avenue. Being part of the lands which became vested in Wm Aiken by Deed from John Albright and Wife dated April 25, 1871 and thence by deed to Samuel Aiken dated May 10" AD 1871 and recorded Vol 26 page 52 as will more fully and at large appear by reference thereto. Together with all and singular the said property improvements ways, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents, issues and profits there of and all the estate, right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part in law equity or otherwise howsoever of in and to the same and every part thereof. To have and to hold said piece of ground hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part for themselves and their heirs executors and administrators by these presents covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns that they the said parties of the first part and her heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns against them the said parties of the first part and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. County of Blair On the 1st day of October 1883, before me an alderman came the above named William Aiken and Nancy J. Aiken his wife, O. P. Aiken and Virginia Aiken his wife, Annie Myers and Christopher Myers her husband, Stephen Aiken and Annie Aiken his wife and acknowledged the above Deed to be their act and deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such. The said Nancy J. Aiken, Virginia Aiken, Annie Myers, and Annie Aiken being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from their said husbands and the contents of the foregoing Indenture being first made fully known to them declared that they did voluntarily and of their own free will and accord seal and as their act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of their said husbands. Barnhart his wife and acknowledged the above Deed to be their act and deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such. The said Margaret J. Barnhart being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of the foregoing Indenture being first made fully known to her declared that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord seal and as her act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
