Burkholder et viz to Alice B. Reed This Indenture made the 28th day of December in one thousand nine hundred and five between Mary E. Burkholder intermarried with Henry C. Burkholder of Clearfield County Pennsylvania part of the first part and Alice B. Reed of Frankstown, Blair County Pennsylvania party of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of seventy-five ($75.00) Dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns forever all the following described property viz: Being the same premises which James Gold died seized of on the 11th of March 1896 leaving to survive him his widow Elizabeth Gold and following children Mary intermarried with Henry C. Burkholder the grantor herein and Alice B. Reed widow of the second part therein, and Amanda Robinson intermarried with John M. Robinson and James A. Gold. Their Conveyance being subject to the Widows dower. Being the premises and same portion of which was conveyed to the said late James Gold by Daniel Hileman & wife and Stephen Hammond & wife by Deed dated the 26th day of August 1842 AD to be recorded and Alexander L. Holliday & Dorcas his wife to the late James Gold by deed dated the 18th of December AD 1848. And dimensions of said tract of land being a frontage of 180 feet or more and extending back to an alley & lands of Samuel Rhodes 175 feet more or less, the same being in one enclosure since the year 1848 AD. Together with all and singular the buildings improvements ways, waters, water courses rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part in law equity or otherwise howsoever of in and to the same and every part thereof. To have and to hold said tract of land improvements hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever. And Mary E. Burkholder intermarried with Henry C. Burkholder the said parties of the first part her heirs executors and administrators do by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part and their heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned, and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns against them the said parties of the first part and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend.
