All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Blair County deed book S, pages 252-253 Written: November 6, 1862 Recorded: July 30, 1866 Release Thomas Crissman to John Collyer To all to whom these presents shall come Thomas Crissman of Logan Township in the county of Blair and State of Pennsylvania Sendeth greeting: Know Ye, that the Said Thomas Crissman for and in Consideration of the Sum of ten dollars Lawful money of the State of Pennsylvania hath remised released and forever quit Claimed and by there presents doth for himself his heirs and assigns remise release and forever quit claim unto John Colyer of the Township County & state aforesaid and to his heirs and assigns forever All the estate right, title interest Claim and demand whatsoever of him the Said Thomas Crissman of [missing line in photocopy] township of Logan bounded and described as follows viz. Beginning at a Chestnut oak thence by lands of Elias Baker north thirteen degrees and one half east *** hundred and one perches to a post thence by lands of Said Thomas Crissman South sixty Eight-degrees west-twenty=two and one tenth perches to a past thence South sixty- three degrees west sixty-two perches to a Black oak thence by lands surveyed to George Aslele [Asble, Arble, Astele?] now claimed by Elias Baker South ----- west ninety-nine and three tenth perches to a Post, thence South thirty-three degrees west fifty four perches to a corner on lands late of Joseph Young surveyed on a warrant in name of Freeman thence said Youngs heirs South Seventy-seven degrees east sixty-six perches to the chestnut oak of the Beginning ******** as per survey by William Read late Deputy-surveyor of Huntingdon County - sixty-five acres one hundred and four perches and the usual allowance a draft or plot whereof is herewith set forth [drawing of lot] It being the Same tract upon which the Said Collyer resides To have and hold the said described land and premises above mentioned unto the said John Collyer his heirs and assigns forever So that neither be the said Thomas Crissman nor his heirs nor any other person or persons for him or them or in his or their names or right shall or may be any ways or means at any time hereafter claim challenge or demand any estate right title or interests of in or to the said land and Premises or any part thereof But from all and *** action and actions estate right title interest-claim and demand of in or to the said premises or any part or parcel thereof they *** ***** of them shall be forever barred -- And the Said Thomas Crissman and his heirs the Said lands and tenements hereditaments and Premises with the appurtenances to the said John Collyer his heirs and assigns against-him the said Thomas Crissman and his heirs shall and will Warrant and forever defend. In Witness whereof the Said Thomas Crissman hath hereunto set his hand and seal this sixth day of November Anno Domini 1862.
